JERUSALEM, May 1 (UPI) -- At least eight rockets, including two that fell in Negev during Holocaust remembrances, were fired Thursday from Gaza into Israel, officials said.
Negev was hit by a total of 15 rockets Wednesday and Thursday, Ynetnews said. Injury reports were light as most of the rockets hit open areas, the mayor said.
Seven rockets fell in the area of Sderot Thursday, one of them in the town's center near a high school. Four residents, including three students, were treated for shock, thre school's principal told Ynetnews.
Another fell in a kibbutz in Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, damaging a house.
Also, the Jerusalem Post reported the Israeli military killed Nafez Mansur, a 40-year old Hamas member reportedly involved in the abduction of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and the attack on Kerem Shalom.
