SPOKANE, Wash., April 30 (UPI) -- An accused killer's aunt found bloody clothes in her garage while she was looking for items for a neighborhood yard sale, police in Spokane, Wash., say.

Justin Crenshaw, 20, lived with his aunt before his arrest, The Spokane Spokesman-Review reported. He is charged with killing a young man and woman and then setting the house where the killings took place on fire.

Charlotte Crenshaw told police the clothes were in a plastic container.

"She did the right thing and called 911," said Spokane County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Dave Reagan. "And that's another piece to the puzzle."

When Crenshaw was arrested two months ago, police searched his room but not the rest of the house.

Investigators say Crenshaw and Sarah Clark went with Tanner Pehl to his house after work. Firefighters who responded to the house found the bodies of Clark and Pehl.

Crenshaw claimed he spent the night at a friend's apartment after an evening of drinking with Clark and Pehl.
