Politics 2012: Ron Paul strategy keeps things interesting

PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria, April 29 (UPI) -- Royal Dutch Shell's oil production in Nigeria has dropped by more than 500,000 barrels a day due to attacks on its operations, militant groups claim.
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta said that recent attacks carried out by the group caused the largest producer of oil to reduce its output, Panapress News Agency reported Tuesday.
Shell officials in Nigeria didn't confirm MEND's assertion.
MEND, the leading militant group operating in the oil-rich Niger Delta, is among the groups blamed for reducing Nigeria's oil production by some 20 percent in recent years to 2 million barrels per day.
