SeaWorld's dolphin 'Sharky' dies

ORLANDO, Fla., April 28 (UPI) -- A dolphin at Florida's SeaWorld theme park died after colliding with a fellow dolphin while performing before an audience, officials said.

The 30-year-old female dolphin Sharky, was executing a trick when she ran into another dolphin Sunday at Orlando's SeaWorld, WKMG-TV, Orlando, Fla., reported.

It is reported the accident was completely unexpected and uncommon.

Sharky had previously executed the trick on dozens of occasions, officials said. Her body is going to be donated for research at SeaWorld, WKMG reported.
