Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, April 27 (UPI) -- Haiti has named a new prime minister following recent violent protests over rising food costs, Haitian radio reported Sunday.
Ericq Pierre was named the successor to Jacques Edouard Alexis, who was ousted by lawmakers this month after protests over food inflation left at least seven people dead.
Pierre was a senior adviser with the Inter-American Development Bank before his appointment to the prime minister position.
