ENGLEWOOD, Fla., April 23 (UPI) -- A Florida man called police after allegedly finding a stockpile of guns, ammunition and knives in his 13-year-old daughter's treehouse, officials said.

An Englewood, Fla., resident contacted the Charlotte County, Fla., Sheriff's Office after he said he discovered a sheet filled with weapons and ammunition in his daughter's treehouse Monday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Wednesday.

The cache reportedly included at least 340 rounds of ammunition, a sawed-off shotgun, folding knives and ear plugs, officials said.

The girl hasn't been linked to the weapons, a sheriff's office spokeswoman told the newspaper.

It is alleged that one of the guns in the cache was stolen from the home of a Port Charlotte, Fla., resident in December.
