BERLIN, April 23 (UPI) -- German police conducted a series of raids in several cities Wednesday looking for illegal "jihadist" propaganda.
The raids by more than 130 officers were part of an investigation of nine German citizens suspected of trying to convert others to radical Islam, CNN reports.
Police said the suspects arrested ranged in age from 27 to 47 and were tied to an Islamic center in a small township in southern Germany.
The raids took place in several German cities including Berlin and Bonn.
