ATLANTA, April 21 (UPI) -- Tony Snow, the former Fox News commentator and White House spokesman, is joining CNN, the U.S. network said Monday.

Snow, who left the Bush administration last year to focus on his fight against cancer, will be a political contributor for CNN, network President Joe Klein said.

Before serving as press secretary to President George W. Bush, he spent 10 years at Fox News. He also was a speech writer in the administration of Bush's father, President George H.W. Bush, and worked in newspaper and radio businesses.
