Politics 2012: Ron Paul strategy keeps things interesting

BAQUBA, Iraq, April 20 (UPI) -- Gunmen Sunday kidnapped three male students and their driver near the Iraqi city of Baquba in the Diyala province, authorities said.
The students and the driver of their minibus were on their way back to Diyala University after a weekend recess when they were stopped at a phony checkpoint, the BBC reported. All the women on the bus were left behind by the gunmen, the BBC said.
The Diyala province is one of Iraq's most dangerous areas where about 80 people died in two attacks last week.
Abductions are widespread in Iraq as a financial and political tool, the BBC said. Two weeks ago, Iraqi officials found 42 students just hours after they were kidnapped near Mosul.
