"We are off of the property, and they have resumed their normal, everyday course out there," Schleicher County Sheriff David Doran was quoted by the Deseret Morning News as saying Thursday.
Texas authorities have searched the temple at the YFZ (Yearn for Zion) Ranch, which records said was used for sex with young girls.
Evidence was found showing that men would force their young brides to have sex "at the initial time of marriage." Investigators said they found a man with 20 wives, all living at the ranch.
They said 133 adult women left the compound to be with the 416 children, who had been taken into custody, at several hastily arranged facilities at San Angelo, about 45 miles from Eldorado, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Thursday. The children eventually will be placed in foster homes.
Officials have refused to reveal how many men were being detained at the ranch.
The 16-year-old girl who triggered the raid has still not been located, officials said.
