ORLANDO, Fla., March 31 (UPI) -- Florida police said a search was under way for a gunman in a Dodge Intrepid who shot at a large crowd of teenagers partying outside a house in Orange County.

Orange County sheriff's deputies say the gunman fired between 20 and 30 shots early Monday, hitting one person in the leg, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported. A second partygoer was injured when he ran into a tree while trying to escape the gunfire.

"This party was very large," said Cmdr. Rick Luckey of the sheriff's department. "We're going to estimate it was somewhere in excess of 100 people and upwards to 150 people at the house."

The shooting victim said he recognized the gunman but others at the party were refusing to cooperate with sheriff's deputies, Luckey told WKMG.
