FARGO, N.D., March 28 (UPI) -- North Dakota State University is investigating a skit involving a black-faced student impersonating Barack Obama receiving a lap dance.

The Saddle and Sirloin Club, an organization for students interested in livestock farming, put on the skit during the Mr. NDSU Pageant organized by the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, The Forum of Fargo-Moorehead reported. One student dressed as the woman featured in the "I've got a crush on Obama" Internet video and the other as the candidate. In the background, two "cowboys" used an Obama sign to simulate anal sex.

The presidents of the club and sorority have apologized for the skit.

Obama, the front-runner in the Democratic presidential contest, is scheduled to visit North Dakota soon to speak at the party's state convention.

Malika Carter, head of the university's multicultural student services, said she got complaints from students that the skit was racist, homophobic and objectified women.
