GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba, March 21 (UPI) -- Lawyers for a terror suspect held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, claim that their client is insane, The Miami Herald reported Friday.

The defense attorneys said in an unsealed suit that any intelligence that might be provided by their client, Zayn al-Abidin Muhammed Hussein, would be unsound.

A recent book on the war on terror claims Hussein is mentally incompetent, and the CIA has acknowledged waterboarding Hussein in secret interrogations.
