Accidental blast kills Hamas militant

GAZA, March 21 (UPI) -- An explosion at a Hamas training camp in Gaza Friday left one militant dead and two others injured.

A similar blast Thursday at a Hamas training center in the Gaza Strip left two militants dead and one injured, Haaretz reported. The men reportedly had been working with explosives before the blast.

Hamas members originally said the men died in an Israel Air Force attack, but later claimed no attack had occurred, the report said.

Israel Defense Forces soldiers Thursday fatally shot a 60-year-old Palestinian farmer while he was traveling on a donkey on Hamas-controlled land.
