TORRINGTON , Conn., March 19 (UPI) -- An expectant Connecticut mother is facing narcotics charges after police allegedly found Ecstasy pills hidden inside her body, potentially harming her fetus.

Heidi Keller, a 37-year-old mother of three, was arrested after police got a tip about her and another woman selling drugs late Saturday, WFSB-TV in Hartford, Conn., reported. Torrington police reportedly found Keller in possession of objects typically used for smoking crack cocaine.

Keller was suspected of concealing drugs after she was seen with her hands reaching between her legs soon after she was put in handcuffs, police said.

Fourteen Ecstasy pills in an unsealed plastic sack were discovered inside Keller's vagina after a woman officer searched her, WFSB reported.

Keller was arraigned Monday on several charges, such as narcotics, tampering with evidence and risk of injury. She reportedly has been arrested several times in the past 12 years.
