32 charged with alleged racial assaults

GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba, March 19 (UPI) -- A Canadian terror suspect in Guantanamo Bay said his interrogators threatened him with rape, The Miami Herald reported Wednesday.
Omar Kadr said in a nine-page, partially censored affidavit that he was repeatedly threatened with rape at the naval prison in Cuba and during his interrogation in Afghanistan, following his capture.
Kadr was 15 when he was first interrogated at an American field hospital in Afghanistan.
A military spokesman, Cmdr. Jeffrey Gordon, maintained that all prisoners are treated humanely.
