TORONTO, March 17 (UPI) -- Media mogul Conrad Black's son faces charges stemming from a hit and run in downtown Toronto, police said Sunday.

Jonathan David Black was charged with careless driving, failure to stop after an accident, driving while under suspension and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, Canwest News Service reported.

Police accuse Black of ramming his Infiniti into the back of a stopped vehicle in downtown Toronto and then fleeing the scene Thursday. He will appear in court April 28, Canwest reported.

His father, Conrad Black, recently began serving a six-and-a-half-year prison term for obstruction and fraud charges.
