LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 13 (UPI) -- A passerby discovered a dump site used by methamphetamine manufacturers along a stretch of rural road in Kentucky.

Investigators said that the site in Jefferson County in a rural part of metropolitan Louisville had the remains of about 200 meth labs, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

"There's a smorgasbord of solvents, blister packs of pseudoephedrine and two-liter bottles full of chemicals out here," said Sgt. Stan Salyards, a supervisor with Metro Narcotics.

Salyards said that some metal containers had become rusty, suggesting that they were dumped some time ago.

A contractor certified by the Drug Enforcement Administration was brought in for the cleanup.
