A 46-year-old mother and her three children were killed in the Laikipia West district Tuesday in Aiyam village as fighting continued in the area for the seventh day, the Daily Nation reported Wednesday.
Hundreds of people reportedly fled the Mount Elgon area Tuesday to avoid a military mission aimed at militia organizations in the region.
Four individuals were killed and numerous others were wounded in Narok South as 125 homes were burned after a clash between communities at Munyas, the Daily Nation reported.
It is reported that violence began when several herders from Bomet District took their livestock to Munyas, which is in Narok South District's Ololung'a Division.
