Book: Lewinsky claims Clinton lied to jury
Thursday, December 17
BOGOTA, March 12 (UPI) -- Colombia is considering paying a handsome reward to the leftist guerrilla fighter who killed a rebel leader.
Pedro Pablo Montoya, who last week killed Ivan Rios, a leader in the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, surrendered to authorities. Montoya stands to collect $2.5 million, El Tiempo reported Wednesday.
The Colombian government often pays informants for information leading to the capture of FARC leaders.
FARC has been battling Colombian forces for more than 40 years.
