CHAPEL HILL, N.C., March 10 (UPI) -- Police said Monday they're looking for a second "person of interest" in the slaying of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill student body president.
During the weekend, police released photos taken at a Chapel Hill-area ATM machine of a man driving a sport utility vehicle and possibly using slain student Eve Carson's ATM card, CNN reported. A shadowy form appears in the back seat of the vehicle, which police said could have been Carson.
"We do believe there is a second unidentified male seated in the rear seat," the Chapel Hill Police Department said in a statement. "We have been exploring ways to enhance the quality of this photo in an effort to learn more about this person."
Carson, 22, was found shot to death Wednesday in a suburban neighborhood near the UNC campus. Her vehicle was found the next day in another neighborhood near where she lived with roommates.
