Man questioned in Stockholm bombing

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 10 (UPI) -- Swedish police questioned a suspect in a weekend bombing that shook a suburban Stockholm neighborhood awake.

The 29-year-old man was picked up based on information from the owner of a Volvo that was the apparent target of the blast Sunday morning in the Vasastan district of the Swedish capital.

"The person who usually drove the vehicle had made a statement and we're investigating that information further," Towe Hagg, a representative of the police department told The Local. "We don't want to discuss anything about our suspicions because we need to conduct the investigative work free of distractions."

No one was injured in the blast, which broke several windows, but did minimal damage to the Volvo SUV that was owned by a Stockholm security company.
