Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

LONDON, March 7 (UPI) -- Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was hospitalized Friday after she began to feel ill.
A spokeswoman for St. Thomas Hospital in London said Thatcher would remain there overnight for tests, The Sun reported. The spokeswoman said Thatcher was in stable condition.
Thatcher, 82, suffered what was described as a minor stroke in 2002. She has continued to carry out some public appearances and last year visited her old home, 10 Downing St., for tea with Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
After she resigned as prime minister in 1990, Thatcher was elevated to the House of Lords as Baroness Thatcher. She lives in the Belgravia district of London.
Her husband, Sir Denis Thatcher, died in 2003.
