LAS VEGAS, March 4 (UPI) -- A hazmat team was sent to the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas after a guest said there was white powder on his bed Tuesday morning.

The Clark County Fire Department said that the man does not appear to have suffered any physical symptoms, KLAS-TV, Las Vegas, reported. Authorities did not evacuate the hotel.

On Feb. 22, vials of ricin, a deadly poison derived from castor beans, were found in a room at another hotel in Las Vegas along with bomb-making instructions and anarchist literature. Roger von Bergendorff, a graphic designer who had been staying in that room, remains in critical condition in a hospital, possibly because of exposure to ricin..
