CHICAGO, March 3 (UPI) -- A woman returning from a trip to China went missing in Chicago's O'Hare International Airport after checking into customs, police said.
Sumei Hu, 38, was seen on security video footage arriving from her American Airlines Tokyo flight and checking into customs, but she never made it to the terminal where her husband was waiting, the Chicago Tribune reported.
"She got through, and she's gone. None of her family has heard from her. She's just a beautiful person inside and out. Our last conversations were just so happy," Hu's husband, Steven Frasch of Sheboygan, Wis., said of his wife's Feb. 26 disappearance.
Frasch reportedly waited in the terminal for longer than an hour after Hu's flight landed. Police said they were looking at more security footage for evidence.
