Clinton and Obama volunteers are making face-to-face visits with potential voters across Cincinnati and other urban centers in an attempt to garner last-minute support for their candidates before Tuesday's Ohio primary, The Cincinnati Enquirer said Saturday.
At least two dozen members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union also were taking time this weekend to support Obama and his fight to win the Ohio primary next Tuesday.
The Enquirer said Kwaise Mfume was one of the supporters gathering Saturday to support their particular candidate and the former Maryland congresswoman pointed out how crucial such last-minute efforts can be in an election.
"As somebody who won his first election by three votes, I know every vote counts," Mfume said. "That's why it's so important we reach each and every voter."
