Archbishop reported kidnapped in Mosul

MOSUL, Iraq, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- A Chaldean Catholic archbishop was kidnapped and his guards shot and killed Friday by Iraqi gunmen in Mosul, it was reported.

Archbishop Faraj Rahho apparently was taken from his car after he left a church. The kidnappers attacked his car and killed the three guards, CNN reported.

The Chaldean Catholic Church is part of the Roman Catholic Church.
