Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said his country has provided the international watchdog agency with information regarding its controversial nuclear program and that an IAEA report on the matter has been issued, RIA Novosti reported.
"No question remains for the IAEA about Iran's nuclear program. Iran has responded to all questions and the agency has issued its final report on the case," Elham said.
The finalization of the IAEA report is evidence of Iran's attempt to use its nuclear research for peaceful efforts not military, Iranian chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili has claimed.
"This report showed that our activities are peaceful," the Iranian official said Saturday after the official release of the nuclear watchdog's report.
Nonetheless, the Russian press agency said IAEA Director Mohamed ElBaradei has called on Iran to implement the agency's additional protocol, which would allow IAEA officials to conduct impromptu inspections of Iranian nuclear sites in the future.
