The United States was one of those countries recognizing Kosovo's declaration Sunday of independence form Serbia.

"There is absolutely no way that we can continue having normal relations with any country or any organization that decides to act unilaterally with the effect of limiting our sovereignty and infringing our territorial integrity," Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said.
