AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- More than 10,000 people have entered a drawing for 100 tickets to the Democratic presidential debate in Austin, Texas, next week, a report said Friday.
The Texas Democratic Party is using the 100-ticket drawing to offer seats at the debate between Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, the Austin (Texas) American-Statesman reported.
The University of Texas is hosting a student lottery for an unknown amount of tickets.
The University of Texas Recreational Sports Center, where the debate is scheduled to take place on Feb. 21, can hold up to 3,000 audience members for the event, CNN said.
The Obama and Clinton campaigns, the Texas Democratic Party, CNN, Univision and the University of Texas get to invite people to the event.
