Report: Students did cocaine in shop class

BELLEVUE, Neb., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Three high school students in Bellevue, Neb., are suspected of bringing cocaine to school, police said.

Levi Daniels, 19, was picked up by police on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance which police say they believe is cocaine, KETV, Omaha, reported Wednesday.

Two Bellevue East High School students were reportedly arrested after being seen snorting a substance during shop class Monday with Daniels.

"This is a brazen act. They were actually doing lines of cocaine in the classroom while class was going on," Bellevue Police Chief John Stacey said.

A drug expert determined the students were high, police said.

All three of the arrested students were suspended from school and face possible expulsion, the newspaper said. The two students arrested with Daniels, aged 16 and 17, both face a misdemeanor count for being under the influence.
