The Paris criminal court reportedly sentenced Antonio Agustin Figal Arranz, 35, Iradi's partner in the shooting, to 10 years in jail.

Iradi admitted to the shooting while on trial for attempted murder, but claimed he fired out of panic because he thought the officer was going to shoot, the report said.
