Huckabee gave clemency to alleged killer
Wednesday, December 2
WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- David Wilhelm, Bill Clinton's campaign manager in 1992, Wednesday endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., as the Democratic nominee for president.
Wilhelm, who lives in Ohio and is a superdelegate to the Democratic convention in Denver, told The New York Times he expected the Obama campaign would ask him to lobby other superdelegates, usually party leaders who don't have to commit to a delegate or can change their minds.
Wilhelm said in a conference call he thought Obama was more electable than New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.
"He has outworked her, out-organized her and out-raised her," Wilhelm said.
