Dozens of Sderot residents traveled to Jerusalem in cars and buses then sat in the road, blocking entrance to the city, Ynetnews.com reported.
The protesters later marched to the office of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert chanting "code red," the warning given for rocket attacks, Ynet said.
The group littered the area with pieces of the missiles launched by Hamas militants into Sderot during the past several weeks and vowed to set up a tent city and camp until their concerns were addressed.
Earlier Sunday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak was greeted with chants of "go home" as he toured an area of Sderot where two brothers were seriously injured by a Qassam rocket Saturday, Ynet reported.
