The transition team for President-elect Lee Myung-bak said his administration will put the peace agreement and denuclearization among its top priorities when it takes office Feb. 25, the Yonhap news agency said.
Lee said in an earlier meeting with U.S. officials that strengthening inter-Korean relations with the United States would contribute to getting North Korea into step with the international community.
The 21-point strategy includes 192 national policy tasks including decreasing government spending by 10 percent and alleviating corruption.
