Politics 2012: Ron Paul strategy keeps things interesting

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A man who pleaded no contest to dozens of rape and obscenity charges was sentenced to 15 life terms -- 365 years -- in an Ohio State prison.
Richard Enyart, 44, pleaded no contest to 49 felonies rather than go on trial in Common Pleas Court, The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch reported Monday.
His convictions are for 14 counts of rape and attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, pandering obscenity, pornography involving minors and tampering with evidence, which make him a sexual predator in Ohio.
"Most crimes I can understand -- not condone but understand," said Judge Richard S. Sheward. "This is the kind of case I can neither understand nor condone nor comprehend."
