RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A Brazilian group whose carnival float was banned because it depicted scenes from the Holocaust entered a float Monday depicting bound and gagged men and women.

The group's new entry also carried a banner reading "you don't build the future by burying the past," O Globo TV reported Monday.

In a ruling on a complaint brought by Jewish groups, a judge last week said the Viradouro group could not enter a float displaying undressed mannequins painted to look like the bodies of Holocaust victims.
