JERUSALEM, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- A new survey shows most Israeli teenagers fear the Holocaust could happen again.

The Massuah Institute for the Study of the Holocaust polled high school students and found 82 percent said they believe Jews could be targeted by another genocide campaign sometime in the future.

The survey also found most students learned about the World War II Holocaust during field trips to Poland, compared to only 12 percent who learned about it in school, Ynetnews.com reported Friday.

The survey, which was released ahead of Monday's International Holocaust Day, said 74 percent of students said they believe Holocaust victims were unable to avoid their fate during the war, and only 26 percent said the survivors had been able to rebuild their lives by immigrating to Israel.
