Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

BAGHDAD, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- An Iraqi soldier who killed two U.S. troops and wounded three others proved to be an "insurgent infiltrator," Iraqi Gen. Mutaa al-Khazraji said Saturday.
Capt. Rowdy Inman, 38, and Sgt. Benjamin Porter, 27, died in the Dec. 26 attack in Mosul, the BBC reported Saturday.
Initially, U.S. military officials believed the killings resulted from hostile small-arms fire, but further investigation showed the attack came from within the patrol itself, the BBC reported.
"They (the joint patrol) were attacked by gunmen and the (Iraqi) soldier abused the situation and killed the two soldiers," Khazraji said, noting the "insurgent infiltrator" was arrested.
