IRVING, Texas, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Texas police searched Wednesday for a 50-year-old father whose teenage daughters were found shot to death in his taxi.

Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18, were found dead Tuesday evening in Irving, Texas, the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram reported. Police received a 911 cell phone call about 7:30 p.m. alerting them to the shootings, but the caller--most likely one of the girls--could not identify the car's location. About an hour later, a witness reported the taxi as a suspicious vehicle, and police found the teens dead inside, the newspaper said.

Police were searching for the girls' father, Yaser Abdel Said.
