Poland to send more troops to Afghanistan

WARSAW, Poland, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Poland's defense minister, Bogdan Klich, said he will dispatch another 400 troops to Afghanistan in 2008.

Klich told Poland's TVN24 news channel that the instability caused by last week's assassination of Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto could spill over into Afghanistan, the Warsaw Voice Online reported Monday.
