Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

LONDON, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Dozens of passengers on the new British luxury liner Queen Victoria have come down with a stomach bug believed to be the norovirus.
Symptoms suffered by as many as 78 passengers who came down with the highly contagious virus include profuse vomiting, The Sun reported Sunday.
A passenger is likely to have brought the virus on board the $600 million liner, which was only officially launched Dec. 21, a spokesman for liner operator Cunard said. He also disputed the 70-passenger figure, saying only about 25 guests were ill.
Some onlookers blamed the outbreak on bad lack caused when the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles' wife failed to break a champagne bottle on the ship's hull during its official launch.
