SEATTLE, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A King's County Sheriff's report outlines an alleged confession in the shooting death of six family members Christmas Eve.
Court documents allege Michele Anderson and boyfriend Joseph McEnroe killed six members of the Anderson family Christmas Eve over issues involving money and family conflict, the Seattle Times said Friday.
The probable-cause report said Anderson and McEnroe confessed to the killing of Anderson's parents, brother, sister-in-law and a niece and nephew.
The Times cited an unidentified source claiming the dispute involved perceptions of family exploitation regarding a car-customizing business discussed by Michele Anderson.
"Money is one of the motives but it's certainly not the only one from what we can tell," Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart told the Times.
Court documents indicated the pair used a 9mm handgun and a .357 caliber handgun to kill some family members. The pair then allegedly dragged the bodies to a shed to conceal them, the Times said. The pair allegedly shot the remaining family members when they arrived for a Christmas Eve dinner.
Prosecutors said the pair may face murder charges that could result in a death penalty.
