Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

SOFIA, Bulgaria, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- A government minister said Bulgaria is willing to dispatch fresh troops if needed to the African countries of Chad and the Central African Republic.
Bulgarian Defense Minister Vesselin Bliznakov said European countries should pay special attention to Africa, where the threats of conflicts and humanitarian crises might send waves of refugees to Europe, the Sofia News Agency reported Wednesday.
In an interview with the Bulgarian news agency BTA, Bliznakov said Bulgaria has deployed staff officers to upgrade law and order in the Central African Republic and Chad that face refugees from Sudan's Darfur province.
Apart from Africa, Bulgaria has its military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of NATO forces.
