NEW YORK, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- More women were likely to punish Judith Giuliani for being involved with the then-married Rudy Giuliani than Bill Clinton for cheating on his wife, a poll says.
The national poll of women voters taken by the New York Daily News showed that 40 percent of women find Judith Giuliani's affair with the former New York mayor made her less suitable to be First Lady.
As for former President Clinton's White House trysts, 42 percent of respondents said his affair does not make him less suitable to be the president's husband while 34 percent said it does, The New York Daily News reported Monday.
Just 15 percent of respondents in the poll of 569 registered female voters said they worried about another sex scandal erupting should the Clintons return to the White House.
The poll also found that many women voters like the idea of Bill Clinton taking on a role in his wife's administration, but were split on whether Giuliani's wife should get involved in his administration.
Asked whom they'd prefer to watch their children, 36 percent of the women polled said they would rather have the Clintons baby-sit while 21 percent said they would pick Rudy and Judith Giuliani.
The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
