Reps. Mack, Bono wed

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Reps. Connie Mack IV of Florida and Mary Bono of California, both Republicans, have married.

The couple's private wedding ceremony was attended by 32 members of the Mack and Bono families. The ceremony was held Saturday at the Richmond Inn in Asheville, N.C, The (Fort Myers, Fla.) News-Press reported Sunday.

Mack's father, former U.S. Sen. Connie Mack III, was the best man, and Bono's daughter, Chianna, was the maid of honor, the newspaper reported.

The couple plans to share a home near Washington, D.C., but maintain separate residences in Florida and California. They have not yet finalized honeymoon plans.
