Flasher hits Georgia

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Police in Georgia suspect a serial flasher is targeting a suburban community there.

Authorities suspect the same man has exposed himself to at least 16 women in Gwinnett County since 2005, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday

One of those women, Sara Chenekan, a 53-year-old caregiver, saw a white van with a ladder rack atop it pass by her and park near her home.

She said she thought the driver stopped to inquire about buying homegrown vegetables, but he didn't have any questions nor was he wearing any clothes.

Chenekan said the streaker got out of his van and walked toward her while touching himself, the newspaper reported.

"He was naked. It was no joke," Chenekan said. "It was terrible. The way he was coming toward me ... It was not an easy thing."

Police say they have had difficulty investigating the case because of the sparse description given by victims because the man's lack of clothes is what first draws victims' attention.

"Our best guess is he's a construction worker, and he hits close to where he works at the time," said Maj. Jim Wilson, a commander with the Gwinnett County Police Department, where most of the incidents have been reported.
