CHICAGO, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Two Illinois men accused of robbing 20 people by luring them with bogus online classified ads are being held by authorities.

Stephen Johnson, 18, of Maywood and Donquez Nickolson, 17, of Chicago were held at the Cook County Jail in lieu of $51,000 and $55,000 bail respectively, the Chicago Tribune reported Sunday.

Maywood, Ill., police said the men placed ads on the classifieds Web site Craigslist.org seeking to buy such things as computers and cellular phones.

When unsuspecting owners arrived with the goods at locations throughout the Chicago suburb, the alleged robbers took the items, police said. They were arrested Wednesday in an undercover sting.
