Ahmed Abul Gheit said Russia pushed for all sides involved to reach a resolution to the Middle East conflict, the official Kuwaiti news agency said Friday.

Abul Gheit also expressed concern over Israel's nuclear weapons program, called for the cessation of Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories and demanded Israel release all Palestinian prisoners.
