SEOUL, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The chief U.S. negotiator on North Korea's nuclear capability said Thursday that Pyongyang is expected to release information on its program soon.
Christopher Hill told business leaders in South Korea the documents should be handed over within a few days, Voice of America reported.
"We look forward to receiving in the next few days, certainly within the next week, a comprehensive list from the North Koreans on all their nuclear programs, materials and facilities," he said.
North Korea agreed in the six-party talks with the United States, South Korea, Japan, Russia and China that it would dismantle its nuclear program in return for energy assistance.
Hill said North Korea will have to deal with claims that it had a uranium enrichment program. U.S. officials say North Korea acknowledged the program in 2002, while Pyongyang denies enriching uranium.
